This policy explains what data flangepiping.com ("we", "the site") collects, why, and the choices you have. It is written to comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act ("Loi Informatique et Libertés").

2. What data we collect
FlangePiping is a static reference tool. It does not require an account, does not collect any form submissions, and does not process any professional or personal project data you look up in the calculator (nothing you select or type is sent to our servers — everything runs locally in your browser).
The only data collected is anonymized/aggregated usage data via Google Tag Manager (see below), and only after you accept it.
3. Cookies & Google Tag Manager
We use Google Tag Manager (GTM) to manage analytics tags (Google Analytics). GTM itself is a tag-loading container; depending on the tags configured inside it, it may set cookies used to measure site traffic (pages visited, approximate location at country/city level, device/browser type, referring site).
These tags are not loaded until you click "Accept" on the cookie banner. If you click "Decline", no analytics script is loaded and no analytics cookie is set. You can change your choice at any time via the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer of every page.

4. Legal basis
Analytics cookies are processed on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give or refuse via the cookie banner. You may withdraw consent at any time with the same effect as if you had never given it.
5. How long we keep data
We do not operate our own database of visitors. Analytics data retention is governed by Google's default settings referenced above. We do not keep any additional copy.
